Hello! My name is Mx. Rom Bo, I'm an it/its and this is:
I'm painfully new to HTML and coding in general. This is my first project (sorry for not counting the three Scratch games I did at school </3), so it's really messy. For the first couple of version I worked on filling everything with content. I had specific ideas of things I wanted, for example I knew I wanted to use this website to host my graphics and show my art. Basically a space where I could have a summary of all I've done to show to other people.
My idea was to have everything in the main Desktop (this page), but the site was already slow with the button gifs and images, and I didn't know how to make it better. The code was and is a mess, so around V5 I shift my focus into trying to optimize and make more and more subpages, but I didn't like the template, it wasn't me, so I grew slightly stressed and resentful of the subpages and stopped working on the site altogether the second I had an excuse to do so.
Until it wasn't just an excuse.
Long story short, they found tumors on my brother's brain and I had to stay with him for two months in the hospital. I've been extremely busy. Plus, I'm going to start uni really soon so I'll be even more busy. But I wanted to revamp the site since I keep getting applications for The RSS Webring (thank you, and I'm sorry for not replying to the mail) and I plan on showing this site to the friends I'll meet in college. Since I also want to start commissions, I want to get rid of my linktree and officially use this site as the only link I pass around and link in my socials (reason why I did the login screen, which wasn't there in V5 and lower).

With V6 many things have changed. Mainly, you'll see there's 6 less icons (apps) on the desktop. Worry not, for no content has been deleted, simply moved around.
ABOUT: This is where you can find information about The Webmaster™ (aka me). My likes, dislikes, links to my socials in a near future... And a couple userboxes and stamps that represent me, also in a near future.
SITEMAP: You are here!
CONTACTS: The apps Contact Book and Chat have been merged for simplicity. This is the app dedicated to People Other Than Me™. You can send messages in the chat or leave a longer and permanent message in the guestbook. Then, you can check out buttons from mutuals / friends and sites that I think are cool.
NOTEBOOK: The apps Gallery, Collection, Text and Shrines merged. Now you can see the graphics I made myself and the ones I collected side by side (userboxes, stamps, blinkies and badges). Then, my diary entries and other writing I've done. Then, my art.
NEWS: You'll find links to the subpages for my ATOM (aka RSS 2) feed and The RSS Webring.
SEARCH: A really cool browser I found and needed to embed here. It searches only neocities.
PAINT: We all know paint!! Draw whatever you want and worry not because other people won't be able to see it.
THEME EDITOR: The font is too hard to read? You want to spice things up with a new background? You can change some aspects of the desktop now!!
PLAYER: Window where I place the Web Deck Player. There are currently four playlists: Cooking Daddy (a playlist for my OC, Case), Cooking Daddy's Meal (a playlist for my other OC, Novem), Normal Playlist (aka 2010s nightcore), and TF2 but only the ones I like (title is self-explanatory)
CREDITS: The title, again, is pretty self-explanatory. Every asset and resource I used to build this website is F2U and most are F2U without credit, but I wanted to make a section dedicated to them anyway ^^

This is important for some backgrounds. It makes the background image more or less crispy; some backgrounds (like Stars) work better pixelated.
This change applies only to the font of the body and the text inside buttons. Titles and text from iframes will not change.
The titles are collapsibles, please click on the type of background that you want to check out.
I promise this section will not look this ugly in the future (well, it's more of an "I hope" than an "I promise but ok").

Why did you add them? I WAS LOOKING FOR COOL NEOCITIES AND WEBS AND FOUND THEM AND I WAS LIKE OMG I NEED THIS ON MY ONE SITE IT WOULD BE SO COOL. So yeah, that's it, that's the story.
Then, there's the PRETTY ICONS that I yoinked from aconfuseddragon (here's their neocities site) and edited myself to be my favourite hues!!
I used icons from both the 𝕎𝕚𝕟𝕕𝕠𝕨𝕤 𝟡𝟝 +𝓟𝓛𝓤𝓢+ Icon Pack #1 and 𝕎𝕚𝕟𝕕𝕠𝕨𝕤 𝟡𝟝 +𝓟𝓛𝓤𝓢+ Icon Pack #2:
For the fonts, I used the font family Uni 05_x. More specifically, uni05_53 for the normal and italic text and uni_63 for the bold text.
What about the titles? I made them myself looking at multiple references!! There aren't many ways of doing 4x4 pixel art fonts hehe, so you may find similar concepts if you just Google that.
Actually, I just did it for you, this is the one that looks like mine the most, if you wanna use it B'] (pretty sure I grabbed the "B" and "S" from there too)
